It snowed on Bluff Knoll, WA on Friday night and hit -4C at 6am this morning in Capel.

I got out reasonably early to go and get firewood. The windscreen was frozen solid at 8am.

Yep had to wait 4 hours for the pipes to defrost yesterday for a shower. Everything was frozen couldn't poke your nose out from under the blankets brrrrrr
The older you get makes you want to move North. Seriously your joints just seize.
Bring on summer quickly.

GT :)

It is a dry heat Dave, not like a sticky NT heat, so quite comfortable in comparison.

Can't help myself 8) went on a tour into the dessert and had a spec in a wind blown hollow and found an old pottery relic fragment. Didn't have a camera with me, so sorry I can't share the moment.

It's just stupid isn't it Dave. My wife and daughter are visiting Nhulunbuy catching up with friends from when we lived there.

The pool, the beach, the fireworks...pictures, videos, phone calls...she's not rubbing it in much at all

But I'll have the last laugh when she gets back on Wednesday. The forecast 12 degrees will feel 'balmy' after the last few days but not for her :D :D

global warming heh
It's like when you leave the fridge door open and feel the cold air rushing over your feet ,.... and as that's happening the fridge is getting warmer ,.... so, we'll all be feeling very cold as the antarctic melts and the cold air pours off it and flows up as far as even good old QLD at times ,.. gunna be a bugga for all the southerners though, wet frozen ground be all like hard to dig, and even harder to move rugged up like an Eskimo
8) ]:D
bit of a party  up this way though, still gettin around bear foot, shorts, and a teeshirt still at 5am in the morning.
:Y: :D :Y:
edit in:- I am built like a small sea mammal though(pretty thermal lol)
