G'day Aurum, Its a big country and anywhere away from lots of people should be good! 
This was my backyard growing up in the Central West of NSW
This was my neighbours second property at Cobar NSW which he has now unfortunately sold
Also spent a fair bit of time around the Waanaring area and loved the serenity out there!!!
Lightning Ridge is also worth a look and I reckon a month could quite easily be spent having a look around. The Easter festival is probably as good a time as any to check out "the Ridge"
You never know, you could find one of these, like my sister did a few years ago.
