Which type of coil do i need.

Being new to this caper,could some please tell me which coil I should be using. I have a Whites MXT-PRO with a 30 cm coil which came with it. Is this coil suitable for detecting around Dunolly,Molaigul and Maryborough areas.Thanks in anticipation, Mal. :/

The 12" spider coil seems to be more of a general purpose coil. For the areas you mention an elliptical coil (10x6 or 6x4) would most likely handle the mineralisation better. Goldsearch may have testers that you can try before buying? As Redfin said give them a call - very good to deal with.
