Where to sluice on the mary river?

Ive never sluiced the Mary river in Gympie but would love to give it a go. Also really keen to try the new home made sluice out.
I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Any info on the area would awesome.Cheers Everyone.

Try the deep creek fossicking area .................... head towards the rail bridge.

Been to deep creek many times......
Was looking at having a go on the mary river.Never tried there before.....I know the gold is there but its spread out and the mary is very long.Was hoping to narrow it down a bit.Cheers mate.

I figured that may be the case .................... I know a macadamia farmer that has a property along the Mary and was talk that they had dredged a large hole out for his pump pick up ................... could be worth a look thru the materials dredged out ?

Sample panning likely looking spots may be your best bet. There would be worse ways to spend a day or two.
