What is this? What letters do you see?

Hi to all
Found this beach detecting today. Looks like it may have been worn as a pendant. Doesn't look like jewellry though.
I see a couple of letters, but what do you see? Anybody found something similar before?

It looks quite obvious when you have it pointed out. Quick google and it seems ymca medals/pendants have been around a long time. Could have saved me a lot of google time. DropBear was almost there.

I think you are right DD. So much YMCA stuff on the web going back as far the 1870's and beyond. Can't find anything similar but they handed out all kinds of medallions/pendants for lots of sports and other things.
Cleaning it up in de-mineralised water and it seems that the original colour may have been bronze. No sign of any plating.
Still like to know how old it is.
