Came across this, and was wondering if anyone else has. I gather Minelab done a deal. Weird.

Not much different to tools, cars, household appliances etc, rebadged, rebranded etc, one manufacturer, multiple brands. As an example company I was involved in manufactured RECIPRO saw blades in the US and they also developed and manufactured for probably 50 global suppliers. :)

Don't get me wrong, I know this is done a lot.

But....big but...not all companies do it. Some are very protective of their patents and tech. I just never knew Minelab had done it.
Guess its a way to sell heaps of units straight up for Minelab. Let National Geographic deal with sales.

Didn't even bother to pull the armrest out for the photo shoot. They probably couldn't figure it out.. kept holding the part you need to slide out. As everyone has done with those Go-Findy things....

Great stuff. :Y:

It had been rumoured when they first came out that this would happen. I read somewhere that this was the reason for the minimal "Minelab" logos on the machines.

I think they were more surprised they finally got a target other than false signals.. hahahaha

"It actually worked!!!!"

I had a play with a go-find 40 for a few weeks and they work surprisingly well for beaches and parks with locating coins and discriminating trash. Flimsy as hell, but fitted inside a backpack and was super light
