What do you do with all the fishing sinkers you find?

I've got 13kg worth of fishing sinkers, it includes a kilogram or so of lead scraps.

Do you just sell it off as lead scrap at $1.50 per kilo or do you try to sell the lot as fishing sinkers for say $80?

I'm sure many of us have a similar collection.

That's impressive! I never let it build up like that. By the time I'd accumulated a couple of handfuls, I'd just give them away to the next fisherman I saw and start collecting afresh.

Yeah, if there's anyone fishing I usually give them away. They seem to appreciate being given the odd lure as well.
