No rain for a few days so thought I'd go hit up a spot I've been wanting to get back to for a while.
Didn't quite make it. :N:

Rather than completely bugger the track, will leave it there until it dries a bit then just drive it out.

Spotted 2 of these little fellas on the walk home, my favourite lizard. :Y:

Didn't go to plan's right :N: lucky your not a tourist or you'd be in trouble with yourself . Beautiful looking lizard my youngest bloke would chase them all day if he could, any lizard for that matter what are they know as MT haven't made it to WA or the north west YET.

Thanks folks.

Silver.. just phone pics, cant ring on it so I just use it for a camera :D

Malri, I have about 3 ton sitting here to process already.

RM, it actually off the track where we've graded to put a fence line in. I thought I was being clever sneaking around the edge but nope. We've still got to give it anouther lap over with the grader anyway. It's a Thorny Devil, plenty here but just don't see them much so was a bonus seeing two

You almost pinched my post with this response MT. The edge section is usually firmer as it has vegetation holding the red stuff together a bit, and I would have done the same thing, but if it was graded, then the broken surface likely allowed more of the rain to soak in. May take a week or more to dry up enough to get it out.

Your post made my day MT. What i wouldn't do to get bogged in that beautiful red WA mud and walk 17km through that country. The thorny devil is my fave lizard too. Love how placid they are. They also feed on one of my least favourite of insects. I'm definitely missing WA.
