Hi all,
feeling the need to see some pruddy colours and haven't been up to McPhersons Crk yet (PITA) to get there from down here (very roundabout trip). The question I put to you all is - are the sapph deposits limited to the well known spot or are they likely to be found over its length - ie upstream. I also see that the Tumor/Wee Jasper road crosses both Mc Phersons and Jerimah crks - anyone had any luck in those vicinities.
Also making plans for a slow trip from the Snowies to Lismore before Xmas (via Orange, Ophir, Nundle and some New England scratchings) so any suggestions appreciated.
Will be doing a fair bit around Drake/Ewingar and the Tweed thru Jan if anyone else is around the area and wants to join in the madness of rock sniff, licking and washing.
happy to trade info regarding Snowy area for those who like cold fungers
Cheers big ears

Hi Paydirt , I know that WalnLiz used to frequent Wee Jasper , but he has stated that McPhersons creek is covered in blackberry bushes & you will struggle to get in there now

Cheers Paul

Thanks Paul, but I understand/have read a bit of roundup and elbow grease has been in operation lately
