Hey everyone just another quick question regarding what pump would be great for a wooden sluice box.thanks

so many variations mate, sluice width, riffle height, minersmoss v ribb, gold hog matt, carpet. just depend on how much water you need to flush your system through and how effective your riffles are, what angle you run at. You can never have a one size fits all due to the varying conditions i.e. sediment level, ironstone, leadshot etc. Min I would run on any 300mm wide sluice would be 3700GPH

Ok the length of the sluice is 970mm and the width is 190mm.

I have a 1.5 inch 4 stroke pump to run a 150 mm sluice with gold hog mat that is volume hungry. It should run a normal sluice, walbanker etc.

A honda x15 will future proof your pump volume for your next sluice & should have good resale. If the budget won't do that, an ebay cheapie should give you a few years of use.
