Water availability in creeks and rivers in Vic

Does anyone know of a website that gives information on the water/level in creeks and rivers?
I don't want to travel over 2 hours just to find there's no water in it - again!

Just use the BOM site and click on Latest River and Rain fall then in the top left select River conditions then choose the area you want and click on any triangle, it will bring up the water level in the creek /river.

Just a few examples of what information is provided, hope this helps.
