Was it worth it? Minelab Eureka Gold 1000

Hey Guys,

Recently we purchased a Minelab Eureka Gold 1000 metal detector, we bought it without doing any research as we are new to Prospecting and were under the impression that they were all much of a muchness (until ready this forum). We got it on sale and saved ourselves a bit of cash.

Is this a good detector? Will we be able to detect the deep stuff with this?
