just joined the site and wanted to say hello to everybody, I am a complete newb to this and have zero experience and zero equipment. so my first question would be is there anyone out there in the widebay area who would be willing to take on an padwan to enlighten this middle aged fool who thinks he might be able to a bit a gold in the future. any advice on what type of equipmet is best to start with detecting or panning etc. of course I would love to tag along with someone and just get feel for the whole process not asking for secret spots or anything like just want to absorb and learn.
