Hope everyone is going alright with these winds coming through! I'm in south-east vic and ive already had to use the chainsaw twice and the chaos of branches on the roads!!

Some wind coming to VIC today, keep safe
"WEATHER SITUATION: A cold front approaching from the west will cross the State today, entering western Victoria late morning but not reaching the far east until this evening. Northerly winds will increase this morning ahead of the cold front. DAMAGING WINDS, averaging 50 to 60 km/h with peak gusts of around 90 km/h are likely about parts of the Southwest, Central, North Central, Northeast and Gippsland districts, mainly affecting areas above 600 metres elevation. Alpine areas in the east (above 1200 metres) are likely to experience peak gusts around 110 km/h during the afternoon. Winds are expected to ease over the west during the afternoon and should ease over Alpine areas later Friday evening. Locations which may be affected include Mount William, Kyneton, Ballarat, Daylesford and all Alpine resorts."
