vibration sluice thingy

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/like/301...5595483864&chn=ps&lpid=107&ops=true&viphx=1as wondering about these vibra fit machine things, maybe make a sluice thing to sit on top of the vibra thing and concentrate dry dirt that way instraed of a dry blower thing?
I have NO experience at all in any of the above, if it sounds stupid, im sorry, its because im new at this, but keen. Was thinking along the lines of a small generator, honda type genny, hook this thing, put a low mounted sluice tray on it, shake shake shake for a bit, shovel more dirt. Have over flow wings either side of the tray....

The li'l joey motor on top of the A-frame has a u-bolt as a counterweight. I pinched the motor controller for my 12v evaporative air cooler. Got another, slightly different off ebay, but when I hooked it up the motor went full speed, then the controller blew both capacitors and the schottky diode-Whoops!.Maybe I had the polarity reversed?
The dry-blower tray (fitted) works good, but I recently changed the matting from hessian to shiny curtain material. The shaker tray along side I haven't given a real good try yet.
I just re-posted this pic in case anyone can use the motor/controller/u-bolt idea. Experiment with moving/ changing orientation of the rattler motor.
