A couple of months ago the US government released a list of Chinese trade goods they were going to apply a 25% tariff to.
I have just read the latest update to that list. Changes were made, adding some new commodities to the list while removing some others.
Below is an excerpt from the news report I just read -

"The changes to the list seem designed to ensure that Americans still have easy access to weapons. Telescopic sights for machines and appliances will now face a 25% tariffthose used for rifles and other arms are no longer included. In fact, the whole sweeping range of weaponry included in the April list has now been cut. Americans will still be able to enjoy duty-free prices on Chinese rocket launchers, flame-throwers, shotguns, ammunition, pistols, grenade launchers and imports classified as bombs, grenades, torpedoes, mines, missiles and similar munitions of war. And, yes, the US does import a few million dollars worth of those goods each year."

WTF???? I wouldn't be able to sleep in anything short of a full blown nuclear holocaust proof bomb shelter if If I had to go to the 'good ole' USA. with that many weapons of mass destruction owned by the 'trustworthy' public the place does not sound safe to me!

Somewhere East of Dallas giving me easier access to the woods of Arkansas,Tennessee,Kentucky and beyond into civil war country.

Where in Texas?

Green Bay Packers the only team. Just back from Texas and New Mexico a few weeks ago (mostly Texas border and Guadelupes). Plenty of wars in Texas but not so much civil war - the old Spanish Missions from the 1600s are worth a visit (e.g. Alamo, although others are more complete)

Tennessee, Kentucky and the Carolinas two years ago (and Louisiana bayou)- full of history. Great Smoky Mountains are good....watch out for snake preachers.

Trump has now retracted that now regarding child detention - Americans would not accept it.
