As some of you know, our little grandson Thomas has been battling cancer.
We have received so much love and support from members of Prospecting Australia.
I thank you all for the support.
I thought I would post an update of his progress so far.
After 4 months of chemo, the main tumour under his kidney has shrunk from the size of a closed fist to about walnut size.
The 2 smaller tumours near his spine seem to have been eradicated.
This is the best result we could have hoped for.
He has lost a lot of weight, as is normal with chemo and being fed via a tube through his nose and into his belly.
He is not his usual happy, cheeky self.
There are many months of treatment and procedures ahead.
Tommorrow, Wed 25th, he is having surgery to try remove as much of the tumour as possible.
We thank you all again for your kind words and support.
Below is a link to an article about a fundraiser being held for Thomas.
