trying to find some colour

Hi guys,

i am hoping you can give me some tips on where to look for gold in this area. I believe i have found some black sand as it sticks to my magnet(though so does most of the rocks in the creek bed) water flows from top of pic to bottom was a couple of metres high during the floods.

this third pic is a side view of the above 2 so you can see how high the flood water was and the direction.

any help would be muchly appreciated and if anyone is in Queensland id be happy to take you here.

Centre of middle pic you can tell someone has busted off the rock and cleaned it out. See the staining where the gravel was sandwiched between the rock.

Just do sample pans all over the area. Should only take a few hours for the area in the pic.

Hey Reeks yeah that was me doing a sample on a crevice its where i found the black sand i do have a few more buckets to go through and will let you know if i have any luck with the yellow
