There are two very entertaining kinds of auditions: the unlikely looking ones who are great and don't know how good they are, and the terrible ones who don't believe the judges when they tell 'em how bad they are.

I agree with rocketaroo that the overdone pathos, melodrama and beat up back stories are annoying.
