Just as a matter of interest, I found another stray bottle for Mrs M.

Well I found a few but The House of Lords whisky bottle has created a bit interest.

Two of her friends have separately commented that in 30 years of collecting they have never seen one of these bottles

According to this reference, Munro and sons operated the Dalwhinney distillery up to 1919.

"A 1914 Whos who in business directory listed James Munro & Son as based in palatial new offices at 121 Constitution Street, Leith. It noted that the companys speciality was Scotch whisky in square bottles, a reference to Munros Square Bottle no doubt and that it was purveyor to the House of Lords."

Great work Doc. I joined up but still had to request the info from the auction house. We'll see what happens now
