Leyland Brothers World near Coffs Harbour? I wouldn't want to walk to Coffs from there.

Their show was one I never missed, it would be good to see some reruns, Australia has changed a lot since then.

Loved watching the Leyland Brothers wish there was stuff on tv like that nowadays. We hardly watch tv anymore except for the news and the footy.

They are a National Treasure, I think they were the reason I wanted to go bush in the first place, I remember writing down some of the places they took us to as my bucket list and my first vehicle was a Willy's Jeep CJ5, and I have been hooked ever since,

I wonder what they would think of all the fancy 4WD kit we have nower days ?, Their travels were a mammoth task even with their old Land Rovers etc, we can have a lot of home comforts depending on our budgets but back then most of this kit was not invented,

I thank them for the inspiration and opening up my young mind way back then, :Y:

The Leyland Brothers were my fav tv show growing up followed by Harry Butler in the wild and Malcolm Douglas, loved those shows.

Now their the real reality TV shows that kid's and some adults now days will never understand. Back in the day before remotes and all technology that consumes us these days. Having to conform to dictated (self regulated) exercise by getting off your arse to change the chanel or realign the rabbit ear antenna  :Y:.

Jack Absolom was and still is a legend in my book to the point he was the first bushy TV icon my boys ever watched. As a kid I lived the experience of living on /with the land which is the reason I'm drawn to real life documentaries I suppose but the first I ever saw on the telle as a kid was Harry Butler in the wild :Y:.
