Teknetics Alpha Hunts

Bought this off gumtree, as a spare, loaner, or light machine for quick goldie hunts....I just couldnt resist, cost me a fair chunk less than an aldi, a gumtree bargain
I will use it, and post some finds, give my opinion of this entry level detector. It has 3 tones, and an easy to read lcd screen. No target TIDs, or pinpoint, but has a depth gauge.

I use only 1 detector. I bought the right one first time.

Should make a good back up unit Rocket, I totally understand the "wanting to try different detectors" thing, even with the more budget detectors.

used it for 10 mins before work this morning, around a park picnic table. Goldies are a solid zinc medium tone, and bottletops bounce down from zinc. It maybe a nice little goldie hunter, if it hits consistantly like that.
