hi guys craig here from nz i was wondering if anyone knew of anyone that still does mods to the tdi model detectors there was a guy reg in us that did a 2 stage mod but not anymore . i do have a gpx4500 etc but realy love the simplicity of the whites and high low conductors but wanting to mod them to make the threshold smother so i can run higher gain and more sensitivity . i have the oz series and a sl . the sl runs super smothe so doesnt really need the threshold mod but needs bit more punch on smaller gold any help would be great .

thanks craig :D

There was a member that used to do the mods on here, I think he stopped a long time ago. I have lost touch now, sorry can't help. He might just chime in but haven't seen him on the forum for a long time.

Cheers Peter

Luke left a couple of years ago, I saw him on another forum but he left there too.

I also enjoy the simplicity of the Whites, mine is a 2015 and should have the mods done at the factory (as told to me by Ridge Runner) I generally go below the threshold and turn the gain up full, switch into low conductors and turn the timing all the way to the left (10us or less).
The best improvement Ive found has been using Nugget Finder coils, the Sadie 8x6 is great but oh so small, Im currently using the 12 inch Evo and Im not in a hurry to take it off!
