Contrary to common opinion, Tasmania isn't home to fine, panning gold only. One of my recent projects was putting together a database of Tasmanian historical gold nuggets: http://www.appleisleprospector.com/tasmanian-gold-nuggets/
Some of you may have come across it already. I have mostly kept it to reported finds of about one ounce or more.
It has links to the original newspaper article reporting the nugget find, and the list is sortable by place, year and weight.
