Thanks for letting me join this forum. Im metaldetect Sweden but we only have tiny goldflakes in i few areas so detecting for gold are bound for beaches and shallow water, lost goldrings etc.
My plan is to visit Leonora sometime and try the real thing.
So now Im reading so much as possible, first the big jump getting there and rental of MD, suitable car, permission etc.
The most important issue if there are a local place in Leonora where prospector might team up for a couple of days, going out alone in the bush seems be a bad idea if something goes wrong.
And of course if someone gets lucky and finds gold it would be great to share that moment ?.
