Hi Folks,

Well the last couple of weeks have been quite interesting. The stock market has dropped a bit and Im sure that many of you have been keeping an eye on what is happening. Super funds have taken a bit of a hit and quite a few people have started to get a little nervous and scratch their heads. Im sure that there are investors out there who are still making a bit of money but it can be a gamble. I had a couple of grand that Id been saving for a gpz sitting around in an envelope and thought to myself why not take a chance and see if that money can work for me So.......... I bought some shares with it about a month ago and of course I am behind at the moment. Oh well, sh#t happens. Still positive about the investment but..........

OK you wizards, what are your hot tips and why? I know very little about the stock market, so come on, educate me. Ill reveal my hot tip in a couple of days. Just want to see how the market reacts to some positive news that has just been released.

Some of the bears are predicting a big correction, or even crash.

Big investors have large holdings in cash, even though returns are not great.

I'd be sitting on my hands for a while, and considering moving super holdings into cash or conservative (which I have done, but I have a defined benefit scheme and only have to worry about my contributions).

That said, if there is a big correction, it is a good time to buy some shares, if you are brave enough.

rms and kdr. rms taking over explaurium for edna may feed just purchased marda gp. 100 mill in cash now on buying spree. kdr largest lithium resource in oz, just did jv with sqm. shares have over halved due to ongoing court case regarding foreture. minister has final say, project means to much to wa economy, has been given tier 1 project status. this will be $5 in 12 months. i read atleast 30 to 40 mining related announcements 5 days a week. check hot copper for any stock your intersested in. other non minimg stocks im in, afterpay, a2 milk, au make, and bapcor. currently watching dominos for re entry.

any stock your intersted just ask. anyone after pilbara conglom gold plays, my top 4 are, artemis resources, degrey mining, kairos minerals, and pioneer resources. and a roughy haomo mining , currently in suspension. i also talk to j campbell on hot copper the guy who started it all, there was a segment on landline last week about jc and his find.

a quick trade kairos , they will be making an announcement soon regarding another major nugget find in the pilbara, and a few big nuggs too, this from jc mouth. hes made alot of peple lots of dollars, including me with artemis.

Hi goldierocks.

Well done in saying that. Doing your research and obtaining good professional advice are so important when you invest your savings. This thread was never meant to be taken too seriously. It is only a starting point for conversation and interest. Obviously anyone who wants to play the stock market should take the appropriate steps before handing over their hard earned cash. If you dont do the hard work before hand it could turn out like the Melbourne Cup. We all seem to be experts on the day but the reality is that most of us loose our money.

i will be, but always hold out for increased offer,they never offer their best price first. was recently in the ago take over, hancock upped it 3 times in the end , i reckon rms will go for 14cents equiv.
