For all my fellow Trekker nerd friends out there, there is new on-line Star Trek series called 'Star Trek Continues'. the first episode is up, plus a few little 10 minute mini episodes. the first episode is available for download at 'the Bay' (if you know what I mean). It has the same set, special effects and Enterprise crew as the original series, or TOS as we nerds like to say - Kirk, Spock et al and the fattest Bones you will ever see. James Doohan's (Scotty) son is in it as Scotty. Some of the acting is tres ordinaires but very enjoyable, great story lines and a bit of fun. Its a not for profit on-line production and they have got full permission to use the trademarks of the original. Here is the link http://www.startrekcontinues.com/episodes/#.UnD5k_lmh8E

Further to this, Episode 2 of Star Trek continues is now on-line and downloadable.

(For those in the know - rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock)

Ah why did they have to go an make it TOS...LAME
Should have continued Nextgen or voyager or even enterprise.
Anything but TOS, heck I woulda even preferred they did deep space nine...

Love it! What did you expect, high drama and CGI effects? The original series was pretty corny anyway, looks like a bit of fun for all those involved, including a few sci-fi legends - Erin Gray (Buck Rogers in the 25th Century), and Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk). :)

And it just gets better - see

"Starship Farragut is a Classic Star Trek Webseries based on the Starship Farragut and her crew. The series follows Captain John Carter and the crew of the Farragut in classic trek adventures!"

There are 7 downloads. If there is a god, please make them better than Star Trek continues.....
