9 penny's 1890,1917,1922,1941,1945,1947(Split),1957. & One $2 coin.
The 1890 penny is in fantastic condition. I dug it next to a tree stump. As I was about to head home This guy turned up, was guessing he was going to tell me to move on but instead he gave me a run down on the history of the church and told me the tree stump was a Monkey Puzzle Tree. I don't know if the type of tree helped to preserve the penny. But the tree had only been cut Down for 2 Years and it was at least 90 years old. I'll have to go back to take a picture of the stump.
Best thing about today no pull-tabs. Not one ! And only A few twist tops. A few iron targets which turned out to be giant horse shoes.
I cleaned the coins in the aldi ultrasonic and then gave them a scrub with a scrub with a soft tooth brush and dishwashing liquid.
