TLDR Theory:

I assume you feed material from the top with water and the centrifugal force created flowing down must separate the lighter material from the heavier, sending the lighter material to the outer edges of the archimedes screw leaving the heavier minerals toward the centre?

Seen a few of these kicking about in mines, they're mostly covered in dust now, from the guys that used to run them it's the best thing for them, just to sit there covered in dust.

About to digress:
How close to eppalock are you?

I get out there in the 20 year old tiny i've Hmmmph "upgraded" with the flat deck, carpet, fish finder, electric motor, poor mans bimini, and the covert hidden esky in the driver seat insulated from the environment. Best god damn $2000 tinny you ever seen, fitted with a 95model johnson 9.9hp that goes like a 10hp.

Do you get to go fishing much when you home from the mines? (I'm assuming you work at from your profile pic, and as you told me in the prvious post)

Yell out if you need some one to stoke the esky in the boat whilst we go and drown some yabbies. mate got a 9 1/2 pound yella and a 12 pound redfin on the 18th of nov behind the kiosk to the right about 400m. perhaps that fish weights where the other way around
