Spade Half Guinea Gaming Token - George III

Hey guys, found this some time ago. Its just a token but a very cool find. What i want to know is what date would this have been made?
Could it be really early victorian or late victorian? Hoping its pre 1840's . Cant find any info online when these were made

looks like a 1701 to me , worth 6 bucks , so it's a keeper

So how do you tell if it is an original minted between 1787 & 1799 or a copy made later?

Looks like the copies are dated 1701, more than 80 years before the originals were issued. But in 1701, the reigning monarch was William III, not George III as per the tokens/copies.
