Howdy all, caught the bug a few years back(8-10) in Rubyvale QL. Living in Scamander Tas as a stay at home dad while the good wife heads off to slave away in the coal mine. I give the Weld river a bit of a go now and then, with mixed results but you won't find a more beautiful setting. I'm using a trenching shovel and yabby pump in the bottom of the faster runs. I sive it through a 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 inch mesh. The 1/2 inch sive helps to sort the 1/4 sive. I would love to get any advise on methods, locations people could offer. Currently thinking about a gravity fed highbanker? Never used one but Wals looks good! See you all out there.

From one Dozer to another Dozzer,

Welcome aboard Dozzer, I hope you find the knowledge shared around the forum helpful.

Nugget.

Thanks all, it's staggering how much I have learnt from this forum. I could have spent a lifetime trying to gain the knowledge that is freely given by the fine people on this site, through trial and error. Or just got frustrated and given up.

Thanks
Regards Dozzer
