The link was a Trojan. A form of virus.

A Trojan horse, or Trojan, in computing is any malicious computer program which misrepresents itself as useful, routine, or interesting in order to persuade a victim to install it. The term is derived from the Ancient Greek story of the wooden horse that was used to help Greek troops invade the city of Troy by stealth.

Link worked fine for me ..Avast didnt complain ect.
And Add blocker took care of any popups ect.

Yeah, I thought it was a bit strange. I've got a good anti-virus program working; so I don't know what the problem would be.

I'm running a check as I write. When it's done I'll repost the link because it's good reading.
