My wife and I have the bug, yes, must admit it. I am a teacher and my wife (not for the lack of trying to get a job) a home bod. We are from Wauchope NSW.
We used to go up to Warwick to a gold field there, but it's now exhausted of any gold except for the one or two smallest of flakes one may find every 12 hours of hard slog. So now going closer to home and back to my favourite haunts out west.
We have a sluice and my new toy, a Garrett ATX which is yet to be tested fully, although know someone with one and it's been a real winner.
I love photography and have been a professional years ago, now back to hobby status, love surf fishing, also the sun/sand/surf when I can, also a Amateur Radio operator VK2FSTU.
