Hi all,
What's the exact ruling when it comes to using a sluice in Victoria? Reading most of the regulations and usual "can use hand tools", and "not mechanical tools", it looks perfectly legal to use a sluice.
I have also adapted a bait pump with interchangeable ends with different sizes depending on the size of the crevice I'm sucking out, I class a bait pump as a hand tool too.
Could someone with a lot more knowledge than me please confirm I'm ok to use both of these items.
I did have someone once tell me a Bait Pump is a form of dredging and is illegal, I do not believe it is, it comes under hand tools, dredging thats banned means with a motor/generator attached.
Any advice is welcome.
Many thanks.
