Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and I'm new to prospecting for gold and other old things. I'm looking to go to Maldon in a few weeks and was wanting to know a few flowing creeks or rivers that I can use my sluice in. I'm not asking or expecting people to give away their best spots. I'll be camping near Maldon so if there are no creeks or rivers flowing at the moment even some other places around the area will do. I have looked at a few creeks and rivers that are not listed on the list of the miners right but I've got a feeling they might be dry, I'd love to go and check it out but I live in the southern suburbs of Melbourne so it's a bit of a drive to go and not be able to use a sluice or pan. Cheers in advance guys and girls ?

Easy spot to try your panning is in Warrandyte. I am happy to show you if you like. I am not sure if there is any water in the triangle. It is a pretty dry place.
Welcome to the forum BTW. :)
