Yes it's amazing stuff alright. About 20 minutes away in the town of Rochester there are a couple of good ones on the silos next to the railway line. A Kingfisher and a Possum that look so life-like. They would be amazing pieces of artwork and achievement on a piece of canvass, but done up in the air on such a huge scale makes them even more amazing.

We've got these not too far from us.

Painted by artist Rone, it depicts Corrina Eccles, Cor Horsten, and Kelly Cartwright.

This was in a local article:
Choosing what faces to include on the silos was difficult, he said. People are affected by whats painted there. The idea was to paint people who represent the local community and capture the past, present and future.

This is a terrific project, Australia wide, that's definitely helping towns that desperately need tourist dollars.

They're amazing! Some of the water towers are very cleverly painted too.

Question: Has anyone seen one with a gold prospector on it yet?
