Shape of the pulse

Does anybody know what the shape of the pulse is as it goes in to ground,mono and DD?

Did you mean the detection area pattern. I don't think that's the shape of the pulse but the detection area?

It would be good if all that power would go straight down,instead of radiating out in all directions,not to clued up on the science of the coil,but I wonder if was possible
