Second timers find 1.6 kilo nugget

Hi All,

Found a 51 ouncer or 1.6 kilo nugget in July this year. It was our 2nd time around.
We dug up the little beauty in WA. About 2 feet down was the hole.
The area was devoid of any Quartz, an unlikely spot to be sure, but a good camp ground.
It's a craggy reef gold piece shaped a bit like Oz. Used a gpx5000
Our story is in Oct issue of GGT mag - Front cover.
Just goes to show " it's still out there " . If us novices can do it so can you !!

The hole produced another 86.4 grams as a bonus.

Yes guys, my avatar is the nugget we found.
