SDC 2300 Gold

I had 3 months Long Service Leave and headed to WA and back. Didnt get a chance to detect in WA. Should of studied up a bit more on the Tengraph maps and tenements. But did get 6 days to detect in the Golden Triangle in Vic on the way home. I ended up finding 42 bits at 3.79grams. I found 11 bits at Laancoorie for 1.02grams. Then spent 2 days in Wedderburn for 2 bits at 0.20grams. And then stayed at the Castlemaine Caravan Park 2.5 days and found 29 bits for 2.59grams including the specie. Had a great time. My battery charger stopped working on the last night. So disappointed at the time as my brand new Duracell batteries only lasted 3.5 hours when I found 7 bits in the morning and had to head home. Minelab have now replaced the battery charger for free and ive now ordered another one plus 4 x C Cell Batteries. So hopefully that never happens again. Just wished I was closer to the Goldfields!

Definitely T. Probably found 300 - 400 bits of lead shot but everytime you see some yella its a great feeling. The biggest bit was only 0.32grams but cant wait to crack my first 1 gram nugget in the future! I Bought some pants with knee pads inserted in them. Definitely worth it with an SDC!

Hey that's about 1 bit of gold for every 10 of shot .... better than my ratio more like 25:1
That gram + nugget is out there waiting, if you walk over 1 the SDC will ping it, no problem.
