G'day!

I've been back to fossicking three times in the last year, a revisit to something I loved as a kid, accidentally discovering a patch of crystal quartz near my home in W.A.

So far I've been for gems at Grabben Gullen, Tingha and just recently panning for gold in Oallen.

What a beautiful way to get off-grid and unwind. I'll be doing more of this for sure!

G'day sandbager welcome to PA sounds like some great adventures you've got going on. All the best when you next get out there, keep us posted.

Thanks RM. My projects at home have typically spanned two, to six years each. I'm mid project now, aiming to complete it in the next year or two, so I've been figuring to cut back on the big projects and spend some time relaxing out bush. Fossicking is absolutely the ticket!

Welcome aboard :D
Does it look like this one....

Back to the topic of prospecting/fossicking. I am primarily interested in gemstones, but a YouTube channel called Adventure Gold got me inspired to have a go at panning. I've now panned in a total of two rivers and found gold straight away. Got the bug.
