I have been away from the forum for several weeks which is very unusual for me. I don't think I've missed more than a day or 2 since I joined.
I would like to thank all the members of PA who contacted me via PM, Email etc to check up on me. I means a lot to me and it's great to see men reaching out to check on their mates.
I was struggling a bit leading up to Xmas, (I hate xmas), but I'm doing OK now. :D

Thanks again people and please reach out if you think a mate is doing it tough. Peace.

Hey Ramjet.
We haven't seen eye to eye the last few months but I genuinely am happy to see you back again after your rest from the forum.

I know i have contributed a little to your situation and I apologise for that.
I was having a rough time myself and was taking it out on those around me when i had no right to.

Anyway i hope we can move on from our butting of heads and hope your feeling better.
Sorry for my part in all the crap.

LC yes we have had different views on certain sibjects but I do not take it personally. I just try to keep the forum ticking along as within the rules as I see it.

And what were your thoughts on PA when the forum was in it's infancy the day you joined RJ ? 8)
 
I thought I would bring back the RU OK that Ramjet started.
Today, two years ago I lost a very good mate to the dreaded Big C and since that time I have lost three others.
I phone a few blokes and ladies every couple of weeks just to make sure that they are OK but what I really want to say to you blokes and ladies is- go and get your health checked to make sure that you are OK cause I don't want to lose any mates on this forum.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah yes life ...................... it's like a game of poker in that you can only play with the hand your dealt :D Be it five ace's of five jokers ;)
 
I went to my wife's uncles funeral today. She has lost her dad this time last year, an uncle in October last year and this one last Friday. She had breast cancer 2013, suffers from Chronic Fatigue not to mention being pushed around a bit in her job and has to put up with me as well. She is a bloody Brittian I tell ya. She has taken all of this on the chin but is still standing. She is my inspiration. Her faith keeps her going and gives her a reason to smile. If it wasn't for her our kids would not be half the exceptional young people they have turned into. I'm glad to be a part of this forum where you can have the support of people who have never met you yet share life's trials and triumphs equally. Thanks for this thread and Atom's "let's talk" thread they are invaluable. Regards, Rick :)
