Another bloke and myself revisited an old homestead (1850/60s) site that I had looked at about 12 months ago. 12 months ago that was my first attempt at detecting an old building site and while I picked up a few "relics" I did not get any coins.
This time I picked up a 1900 penny, a target practice penny of 1939 and an 150th anniversary medallion for NSW (1938) as well as a few relics. Pic is attached.
There are probably silvers there but they have eluded me again. I suspect they have dropped in the black soil beyond the range of my little hand digger.

Great find Detectist ... a nice mixed bag ..... the Mickey Mouse is interesting especially as most of the other stuff goes back a way. Not sure but I'm sure people collect that type of stuff.
Thanks for posting,
Tom

I've found two target practice pennies, both were just bent, one twice, so I suspect just a .22 rifle, but that has gone clean through.
