Howdy, names Anthony, just joined but have been reading the site for the last month.
Am living in Karabar, Queanbeyan beside the river. I generally spend most of my time outside the backyard fishing for Murray Cod and upriver for trout.
Unfortunately trout season is closed so bought a goldmaster 1000 and have been giving it a wave upriver where the sand and flood debris has built up. Also across river below Greenleigh. Will probably head up river of Googong soon.
After reading alot of the posts I am beginning to realise I need to dig everything. Currently I have a massive haul of .22 slugs and cases, aluminium foil and cans. Also taken home a few conglomerate rocks, crushed them up and and every piece still sings, so am thinking they have a iron all the way through them.
If I find anything decent I'll update everyone.
