Prostate Week

Just a gentle reminder (depending on your doctor) that it is extremely important, especially for us blokes over 50, to have a visit to your doctor. Fellas I am talking about this as a friend! I am about to lose 2 friends before Christmas and I will be attending two funerals, they know it and I know it.
For far too long we have been boys and now it is time to be MEN!
Forget the stigmas about exam, get a blood test and talk to your doctor. Man up and LIVE for you and your family.
On a happier note saw my doctor today, blood test good and fickle finger of fate also good Yahoo for me.
Live you blokes because we love you!

Sorry to hear about your mates Makka spend as much time as you can with them while you can.
I lost four family members to cancer in the span of a year. Its a dreadful thing to go through.
My heart feels for those fellas and their families and what they are going through.
Happy for you though on your test results thats great news.

Sorry to hear that Makka
One of the blokes i work with
Got a bit crook about 4 months ago
was told he hd Spanish dancer postrate ..
we had a couple of wip arounds on site for him
got together some 30k to help him out..
all is well he is now back at work tho on lite dutys ..
It was a wake up call for all of us on site..
As we all like to think we are still 16 and bullet proof

I play golf with a group of old guys, about 15 in all. Almost half have or have had prostate cancer.

Doctors say 80% of men aged 80 will have had prostate cancer so don't think it won't affect you.

Detected early survival odds are great.
