Good specs but nothing to good were are just looking for any info that mite lead to gold or gems around pakenham any info will
Help and where happy to come
Along for a trip would be awsome
To learn some tips chers

I'd first suggest though that you do some reading first about the local areas so you know what you are looking for and where. Do a few Google searches to start off guys.

When you find some info that interests you, post links of what gold n gem info you've found and then discuss it here.

Will do gonna head down to gembrook tomorrow and try a few creeks see how we go could you suggest a starting point.

Im think about heading to black snake creek in gembrook looks like a good creek to start just wanna know what people's thoughts are on the area?

I havnt been there yet ( black snake crk ) in not sure of where the alluvial creeks are in gembrook but wallace creek has some small sappire the books say.

I know theres a couple of tin mines in the area. Try Diamond Creek mabey too out there?

Yeah sounds like a plan just trying to find directions to diamond creek thanks for the help if your ever heading out any where near me is be happy
To tag along

I've been to gembrook a few time but not much luck :(( I found most of my gold further out towards Warragul which isn't that far as I'm in pakenham too I filed give u a few pointers if u want them just pm me good luck

The parish was the "parish of Evelyn". The "Gembrook" goldfields are mostly talking about the Macclesfield and Yellingbow goldfields a few kilometers north west of Gembrook, nearly all which are now reserves. If there's gold at Cardinia and Emerald it would mean there too.
