Possibly a coin ring??

Hi guys

Found this a month or so ago and had it soaking to clean it up. The dominant feature is stars but there is also what may be a partial number ending in "0" with a little "14" by itself under it.

The other side has what looks like a box with sides removed by the inner ring and also with stars.

While the material looks coinish the image on both sides does not strike me as a coin but ...

Any ideas?

Yep looks like a 1 Euro from an unknown country with the centre knocked out.

ps if you search for euro images becareful of the porno one that might tempt you to look at the coin page (ikoupon). I didn't go in but it is probably bad for you and your computer.

From another forum - it is a 1 Euro from Italy with the centre knocked out.
