possible first silver

Hi Guys
As some people know i am still to find a aussie silver pre. Dec. well a pre dec at all :/ but last night was swinging on my normal 'need a fix detecting' beach and found this

as far as i can tell it is a common year but are meant to contain silver, still trying to figure it out, just thought i would share

The top pic had me immediately thinking 17th century....but no, more like 70's instead

Different for sure, that first pic had me going for a minute - was thinking old Spanish.

you should of seen me when i first pulled it out of the sand, i got the shakes had the biggest grin then saw the 1973 and thought to myself the ring pulls and and chopped aluminum can bits was prob worth more lol

Yep, I was thinking 200 years old, but nope. Agreed, its a great find.
