Im new and wouldnt have a clue where to start .id love some ideas on where i could go to look for gems of any sort i have no idea where to start.if anyone would be willing to point me in a derection of a club or something in gippsland who would be willing to show me a few tips .myself and my husband are very willing to learn just dont know where to start.

Hi nikmick. I know nothing about gemstones but found these 2 links on a Google search. I assume the the Warragul club look for gems as well as Lapidarying them.
And I would guess there is some good info in the gemstone section of this forum. The search tool on the forum is pretty handy - search Gippsland gemstones or something like that :Y:
