Places to Detect for Gold near Linton in Vic

Well over the weekend I hired a SDC2300 and had a go at a couple of areas on my block out at Linton. No Gold, but lots of Lead shot, wire and little bits of foil.

Anyway so, being as i was significantly impressed by the SDC, I was wondering if there is any good spots near Linton that have a reasonable chance of turning up some gold, or conversely where best to look on my property, being as i think i've looked in the most obvious places, like in the spoil from the pit mines and round the bases of trees.

Any hints on where to look?

Found a 15gm nugget in Linton. Definitely gold there. Be nice if they do a burn off though.

hi just try working the mullock heaps and be slow and low there is gold at linton
