With the purchase of my new MI-6 pin pointer I decided I should try to protect the tip as I have seen a number of people wear a hole through the garret models.
Bought some 25mm heat shrink and 25mm plastic leg tips from bunnies. Thought I may as well do the carrot as well. The pink sleeve is part of a protector I bought off fleabay for the carrot.
This should protect the pin pointers and will be easy enough to replace as it wears out. I will post some progress pics as I see any wear etc.
